About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established higher education institution in Singapore with strong international academic partnerships, is seeking an experienced Dean to provide strategic leadership across its academic division.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of higher education by driving academic excellence, faculty development, accreditation, curriculum innovation, and AI-enabled teaching and learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing academic quality, strengthening global partnerships, and preparing graduates for an evolving workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Academic Division.

  • Lead and inspire a multicultural team of academic and professional staff to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes.

  • Drive curriculum innovation, programme development, and graduate employability initiatives.

  • Champion AI-enabled pedagogy, digital transformation, and blended learning strategies.

  • Lead institutional accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, including local and international accreditation frameworks.

  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with industry, professional bodies, government agencies, and international academic institutions.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and academic excellence.

Requirements

  • Doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent).

  • Proven senior academic leadership experience within higher education.

  • Strong experience leading academic governance, faculty management, and curriculum development.

  • Demonstrated success in accreditation and quality assurance, including EduTrust, PQAF, AQAF, and/or international frameworks such as AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS, or TEQSA.

  • Experience driving AI-enabled learning, digital transformation, online or blended learning initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging government agencies, industry partners, and international academic institutions.

  • Experience working in multicultural and international education environments will be highly regarded.

  • Candidates with international higher education experience and an understanding of the international market will have an advantage.
