Senior/Electrical Engineer (Construction)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and coordination of electrical building services systems for major construction projects.
• Prepare and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, structural, mechanical and other building services disciplines.
• Support project planning, site coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure electrical works comply with approved designs, specifications, safety requirements and relevant standards.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design through construction and handover.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Prior experience in building construction projects, preferably within life sciences, semiconductor/wafer fabrication, data centres, commercial or mixed development buildings.
• Experience inbuilding services, M&E or electrical engineering works within a construction environment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, relevant engineering standards, codes and construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Proficient in relevant engineering and design software would be advantageous.
