About this job

About the Company

Our client is a globally recognized household retail brand. Known for their diverse product range and commitment to quality and value.

About the Job

In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s physical footprint, transforming market data into successful store openings. Your day-to-day will involve conducting deep-dive market mapping and footfall analysis to identify high-potential sites, followed by leading commercial negotiations to secure favorable lease terms. Beyond site acquisition, you will maintain rigorous oversight of project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring that new developments remain cost-effective and on schedule. You will also act as a key liaison for vendor sourcing and contract administration, managing relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless fit-outs. Ultimately, your analytical insights and comprehensive reporting will serve as the strategic compass for both local management and the overseas Headquarters in high-stakes expansion decisions.

About the Manager and Team

You will report to the Business Development Manager and work within a lean, high-performing team. The culture is collaborative, offering a unique vantage point into how a major international retailer operates. You will have regular exposure to Senior Management and overseas HQ, making this a high-visibility role where your analytical insights directly influence the company’s expansion footprint.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Business Management, or comes with strong experience in Real Estate, or Retail Management, supported by a proven track record in leasing, or site selection. You should possess an intimate understanding of the Singapore shopping mall ecosystem and demonstrate the commercial "grit" necessary to negotiate favorable terms in a competitive market. We are looking for a professional with solid financial acumen—someone capable of managing project budgets, assessing site feasibility, and overseeing complex vendor and contractor relations. Above all, you must be a proactive and detail-oriented multitasker with the communication skills required to synthesize complex data into actionable reports for both local leadership and overseas headquarters.

If you believe you have the right skills, experience and drive to succeed, please apply now.
