Facilities Management Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day facilities management and building operations for assigned sites and client facilities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building services and M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and other building systems.
• Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and smooth operation of facilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure defects, breakdowns and maintenance issues are identified and rectified promptly.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, maintenance schedules, KPIs and service levels.
• Liaise with clients and building representatives on operational matters, maintenance issues and service requirements.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, work orders, inspection records and other relevant documentation.
• Support budgeting, quotation, procurement and cost-control activities for facilities management works.
• Ensure all facilities management activities comply with relevant statutory, safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams on upgrading, improvement and rectification works.
• Identify opportunities to improve building performance, energy efficiency, reliability and operational effectiveness.
• Lead and supervise site technicians and facilities management personnel where required.
• Attend to emergency breakdowns and coordinate timely corrective actions to minimise operational downtime.
• Support the Facilities Management team in delivering high-quality engineering and maintenance services to clients.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, M&E engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of building services and M&E systems, preferably with experience in ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection or integrated building services.
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors and service providers.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and statutory requirements.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills for candidates applying for a managerial position.
• Candidates with experience in commercial, industrial, institutional or government facilities will be advantageous.
