🌟 Pastoral Care Officer

💰 Salary: $3,000 – $3,500/month
📅 Contract: 1 year (Oct 2026 – Sep 2027), with option to extend for another year
🕐 Working Hours:
Mon–Thu: 7:30am–4:30pm (incl. 1hr lunch)
Fri: 7:30am–4:00pm (incl. 1hr lunch)
🚫 No service on weekends & gazetted public holidays

📌 Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or related fields
• Experience in youth work, student support or social services preferred
• School environment experience is an advantage
• First Aid / Mental Health First Aid certification is advantageous
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

💼 Job Responsibilities

• Provide befriending and mentoring support to high-needs students
• Support student case management, engagement and follow-up
• Maintain case records and monitor student progress
• Provide social-emotional, behavioural and motivational support
• Monitor homework completion and encourage positive behaviour
• Facilitate simple physical activities for student well-being
• Support school events, discipline and programmes
• Liaise with teachers and school personnel on student concerns
• Perform general administrative duties as assigned

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
