Sales Engineer (Ship Repair & Marine Services) $4.8K - $5.5K + Transport Allowance $1K + VB / Own Vehicle / 5.5 Days

Key Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with marine, offshore and shipyard customers
• Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations and sales follow-up
• Promote marine services, ship parts and ship repair capabilities to clients
• Coordinate with Operations and project teams for smooth job execution
• Support ship parts and ship repair projects through to timely delivery
• Monitor project progress and ensure customer satisfaction
• Source materials and liaise with suppliers where required
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and business performance
• Provide sales forecasts and reports to Management and HOD
• Plan and execute activities that build customer awareness and demand
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and act on feedback
• Share market and customer insights with Operations to improve efficiency
• Handle ad hoc assignments or projects assigned by HOD or the Company

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• 2 – 5 years of experience in the Marine, Offshore or Waste Treatment Industry
• Proven sales track record with an existing Shipyard or Marine customer network
• Strong customer relationship management and service orientation
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good report writing and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach
• Strong time management and able to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
• Team player who is dynamic and results-oriented
