Job Description
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and business insights.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to drive forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to optimise stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and participate in planning discussions with key stakeholders.
- Analyse demand trends, forecast variances, and operational performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with regional and global supply teams to manage product availability and address supply risks.
- Prepare planning reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimally 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience operating within a multinational organisation, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or regulated industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting demand trends and business data.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools, with strong MS Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated experience supporting forecasting, inventory management, or S&OP processes.
