Accountant (Maternity Cover - 6 Months)

• 💰 Salary: Up to $5,500
• 📍Location: Boon Lay MRT
• 🕐 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 📅 Contract: 6-Month Maternity Cover

Our client is an established Singapore-based M&E engineering and construction company specialising in mechanical and electrical engineering solutions. This role will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts and supporting project-related financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of management accounts, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Follow up closely with project teams on billing and collection forecasts
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings
• Prepare information and schedules for annual tax submission
• Liaise with external tax agents and auditors
• Assist with project budgeting and costing
• Monitor project-related financial information and support cost management
• Perform other ad-hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Candidates from M&E engineering, construction, engineering, industrial or manufacturing sectors are preferred
