The Role

Our client is a well-known food manufacturer in Singapore which providescareer development and good benefits for its staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide effective and efficient human resource services to supportbusiness growth and operations.

2. Understand business and operational requirements and challenges, andplan, organise and implement HR initiatives to support business growth andoperations.

3. Work closely with line and functional heads on manpower planning,including annual manpower budgeting, manpower acquisition, deployment andmonitoring of manpower levels.

4. Prepare job specifications, review and shortlist applicants forline/functional heads to interview, and follow up with successful candidates onjob offers.

5. Prepare and update orientation materials and conduct orientation for newemployees.

6. Work with line and functional heads to plan and organise trainingprogrammes and employee development activities.

7. Handle onboarding, including job applications, employment offers andwork-pass applications.

8. Coordinate internship applications with ITEs, polytechnics anduniversities.

9. Apply for government grants and subsidies, where applicable.

10. Shortlist suitabletraining courses for employees.

11. Perform otherappropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Diploma/Degree inHuman Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.

2. 1–2 years ofrelevant HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing, F&B oroperational environment.

3. Experience inrecruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, training coordination and employeeadministration.

4. Familiarity with MOMwork-pass applications and Singapore employment regulations.

5. Good MicrosoftOffice skills, particularly Excel.

6. Strongcommunication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

7. Mature, hands-on andable to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

8. Candidates withrelevant experience but without a formal HR qualification may also beconsidered.
