IT Support Specialist

A top tier international law firm is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on hardware, software, network, and audio-visual support to local office staff. You will work closely with local and central technology teams to ensure seamless daily technical operations and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• User Support: Respond to helpdesk calls, tickets, and emails; troubleshoot and resolve or escalate issues efficiently.

• Hardware & Software: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and audio-visual/telecom equipment.

• Infrastructure & Maintenance: Support network data closets, remote access, off-site setups, and office adds/moves/changes.

• Inventory & Training: Manage hardware inventory, loaner equipment, and conduct basic tech onboarding for new staff.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to firm IT policies, data security best practices, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) plus at least 3 years of technical support experience.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, Citrix, mobile OS (iOS/Android), and common legal software (NetDocuments, Litera, DTE).

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical & Work Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, maintain regular in-office presence, and adapt to flexible work hours or occasional travel.
