Legal Manager

A premier, globally recognized Japanese manufacturing corporation is seeking for a proactive Legal Manager (Singapore Qualified) to join their lean regional legal team.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will handle commercial contract workflows, general corporate advisory, and reinforce regional compliance frameworks. This role offers strong mentorship and excellent stability within a collaborative global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (procurement, supply, distribution, logistics, and vendor agreements).
• Provide timely legal advice to internal business units on daily operations, employment laws, and regional commercial projects.
• Maintain and update internal compliance frameworks, covering data protection (PDPA), anti-bribery, and trade controls; conduct internal compliance training.

Requirements

• LL.B. from a recognized university and admitted to the Singapore Bar.
• 2 to 3 years of PQE, gained in a reputable corporate law firm or an in-house legal team.
• Strong legal drafting and commercial negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
