Staff Nurse

HMI Medical is a one-stop day-surgery and multi-disciplinary medical centre that offers quality day surgeries and diagnostic services at competitive private sector prices. We are now looking for Recovery Staff Nurses to be part of the team at our Day-Surgery Centre.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage patient admission /transfer / discharge procedures.
• Perform perioperative assessment of patient for surgery / Endoscopy procedure.
• Receive immediate post-procedure patient in recovery, assess status and provide appropriate care.
• Vital signs monitoring (Temp, HR, RR, SPO2).
• Demonstrates proper airway management techniques.
• Recognises signs and symptoms of patient’s condition that indicate potential post procedure or anesthesia related complications and report to anesthesiologist immediately.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registered with a valid practising licence.
• A positive and proactive individual with strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in Day Surgery setting is an advantage.
• Able to commit to staggered working hours according to operational requirements.
