Quotation & Proposal Engineer, $4,000 - $5,000

Salary: S$4,000 – S$5,000 per month

About the Company

Our client is an engineering company specialising in process technology and industrial machinery for the beverage and liquid-food industries. The company provides processing equipment and technical solutions to support production plants across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, RFQs, technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and commercial proposals.
• Prepare BOMs and perform costing calculations.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and lead-time information.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Operations teams.
• Analyse project requirements and identify cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain quotation records and supporting documents.
• Support tender submissions and customer clarification requests.
• Follow up on quotation status and provide support to the sales process.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• Candidates with an Engineering qualification are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Relevant experience in engineering, quotation, estimation, project coordination or technical sales is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with numbers, costing and quotations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
