Production Planner (Manufacturing / Precision Engineering)

Location: Buroh Street, a few bus stops from Boon Lay MRT
Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Saturday: 8.30am to 12.30pm

Salary: Up to $3,500 basic + Bonus
Employment Type: Permanent
Industry: Manufacturing / Precision Engineering

Main Responsibilities

• Review work orders and ensure production requirements are accurately captured.
• Maintain production planning and scheduling records.
• Raise purchase requisitions for subcontract processes such as plating and heat treatment.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and parts.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors and Managers on production schedules.
• Monitor production orders and follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely completion.
• Support other production planning and coordination duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of production planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good Microsoft Excel and general MS Office skills.
• Experience with Navision or similar ERP systems will be advantageous.
• Able to coordinate production schedules, materials and subcontract processes.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related discipline will be advantageous.
