Youth Programmes & Camp Operations Executive

What You’ll Be Doing

Love being outdoors, running youth events, and staying on the move? This role puts you right at the heart of our youth engagement and campsite operations. You won't be stuck at a desk all day—you'll divide your time between programme design and training administration at HQ, and running hands-on events on-site at Sarimbun Scout Camp.

Don't worry about doing everything at once—you’ll be part of a team that shares the load, rotates duties, and supports your growth (including on-the-job facility training!).

Key Responsibilities

• Youth Engagement & Training Programmes (~70%): Plan, run, and facilitate outdoor adventure programmes, stayover camps, and leadership activities for youths, schools, and community partners.
• Camp & Event Operations (~30%): Manage client bookings, coordinate logistics (meals, equipment, trainer deployment), and ensure smooth on-site execution during camp runs.
• Stakeholder & Client Relations: Respond to program enquiries, draft simple proposals/quotations, and liaise with schools, volunteers, and community partners.
• Programme Improvement: Keep administrative records up to date, collect post-event feedback, and help refine safety procedures and camp workflows over time.

What We’re Looking For

• The Right Mindset: You enjoy physical, on-the-go work, love outdoor adventure (hiking, camping), and genuinely care about youth development.
• Flexibility & Mobility: Comfortable splitting time between Bishan HQ and Sarimbun Scout Camp, open to overnight stays during camp runs, and flexible with Tuesday–Saturday shifts. (Team is carpooling for camp days! We will leave it up to your personal planning)
• Background: Diploma or Degree in Outdoor Education, Sports, Events, Youth Work, or Social Sciences. Experience running youth groups or outdoor activities is a strong plus.
• Core Skills: Clear communicator, organized with event logistics, and fluent in basic office tools (Google Workspace / MS Office).
• Availability: Open to full-time applicants or short-term ~2-month coverage.
