Junior Development Technologist – XR / VR / AR ($2,760 per mth/ North)

We are looking for a Development Technologist to support the daily operations and exciting projects, working with immersive media and virtual production technologies.

• Salary: $2,760 per month

• Duration: 11-months

Responsibilities

• Support daily studio operations, including studio setup, resource/data management, facilities, equipment and software maintenance.
• Support lecturers in the planning, coordination and execution of VR, AR, MR and Virtual Production projects.
• Assist with research and development, including evaluating emerging technologies.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and presentations.
• Support stakeholder engagement, outreach activities and multimedia content creation.
• Perform other duties in support of the Beyond Reality Studio.

Requirements

• Qualification in Digital Media (Animation, Games or Visual Effects), Film Production, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated abilities in one or more of the following: Unreal Engine, Virtual Production, Film Production, Animation, Games Development or Visual Effects.
• Familiarity with XR / VR / AR technologies will be an advantage.
