PR & Communications Manager

Job Overview

Support the Association’s industry initiatives through communications, stakeholder engagement, and secretariat support.

Responsibilities:

1. Communications and Public Relations

• Manage media relations, press releases, communications materials, and events.

• Oversee social media and digital communications to enhance industry and consumer outreach.

• Work with external PR consultants and member companies on communications initiatives.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with member companies, regulators, government agencies, and other organisations.

• Coordinate industry initiatives, surveys, and information gathering.

• Support the preparation of industry reports, presentations, and publications.

3. Secretariat Support

• Provide secretariat support for committees and working groups.

• Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.

• Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.

4. Industry and Regulatory Awareness

• Keep up to date with relevant industry developments, regulations, policies, and guidelines.

• Support other projects and initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, marketing, insurance, or a related field.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

• Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or regulatory-related work.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
