Food Labelling, Claims & Product Regulatory Specialist

Role purpose: Ensure food labels, menus and marketing claims are reviewed systematically against applicable Singapore requirements and evidence.

Key responsibilities

· Review ingredient lists, allergens, nutrition information, date marking and mandatory particulars.

· Assess nutrition, health, function and comparative claims.

· Review menu, website, e-commerce and advertising language for consistency.

· Build compliant wording options and prohibited/high-risk claim lists.

· Coordinate with regulatory and nutrition specialists.

· Label compliance checklist.

· Claims matrix.

· Marked-up artwork/menu copy.

· Approved wording guide.

· Regulatory risk memo.

Mandatory appointment standard

· At least 5 years in food labelling, regulatory affairs, nutrition, QA or related work.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Singapore food-labelling and claims requirements.

· Strong attention to wording and evidence.

Preferred qualifications / credentials

· Food science, nutrition, regulatory affairs or legal qualification.

· Experience reviewing FMCG artwork and digital advertising.

· Nutrition labelling/claims training.

Experience guideline

· 5-10+ years.

Training capability

· Can train marketing/product teams on compliant claims and label-control processes.
