About this job
The client of ours is a Global Conglomerate within the Data Centre industry is expanding their operations in APAC and is looking for an experienced Supervisor-Supply Chain to be based in Singapore.
The Supervisor-Supply Chain oversees the execution of specialized supply chain and technical services, including IP addressing, rack and cabinet assembly, equipment configuration, kitting, and customer-specific builds. The role ensures safe, accurate, and timely delivery while coordinating resources, technical requirements, and cross-functional priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations including rack/cabinet assembly, equipment configuration, kitting, IP addressing, and customer builds including the ability to interpret technical drawings, BOMs, wiring schedules, and rack/cabinet layouts.
- Lead, coach, and develop operators and technicians to ensure safe and high-quality execution.
- Interpret technical drawings, BOMs, wiring schedules, rack layouts, and work instructions.
- Plan labor, capacity, and materials to meet project schedules and customer commitments.
- Resolve operational, technical, and material-related issues to maintain delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Project Management, Warehouse, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, documentation, and operational standards.
- Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in deployment services, manufacturing, integration, data center, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of technology, networking, electrical, security, AV, data center, or infrastructure products.
- Understanding of IP addressing, basic networking, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
- 2+ years of supervisory or people-leadership experience.
- Experience managing technical assembly, installation, or integration activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
