Service Engineer (MNC)

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Provide on-site technical support, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Perform equipment testing and commissioning according to technical specifications.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with customers to understand technical issues and provide professional support.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, production, and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
• Provide basic training and technical guidance to customers when required.
• Travel to customer sites locally and overseas as required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in service engineering, field service, maintenance, or equipment support.
• Experience with industrial machinery, automation, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites when required.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work independently.
