Construction Drafter

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction plans based on design specifications
• Develop 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software
• Assist engineers and project managers in translating concepts into accurate technical drawings
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and project requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
• Support project team with as-built drawings upon project completion

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum [X] years of relevant drafting experience in construction
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit or BIM is an advantage
• Good understanding of construction drawings, materials, and building standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred / Advantage

• Experience in structural / steel / mechanical drafting
• Familiarity with BCA regulations and submission drawings in Singapore
• Experience in shop drawing and site coordination
