Airfreight Forwarding Customer Service (Import/Export)

About the role

An established global logistics company is seeking an experienced Airfreight Forwarding Customer Service, Senior Executive, to manage end to end airfreight shipments to provide reliable and efficient service to the customers.

WorkingLocation : Alps Avenue

WorkingHours : 0900hrs-1730hrs (Mon-Fri), 0900hrs-1300hrs (Alt Sat)

BasicSalary : Up toS$4000/month

Transport : Company transport provided at Admiralty, Sengkang, Tampines & Tanah Merah

Job responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import/export shipments, including bookings, documentation, coordination, customs clearance (imports) as well as export documentation, billing and shipment closure.

• Serve as the key customer contact, providing timely shipment updates and resolving operational issues.

• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs authorities for smooth shipment execution with compliance of the regulations.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, meeting KPIs and internal operational procedures.

• Identify complex shipments to proactively resolving the delays, documentation discrepancies or any customs queries.

• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, regulatory documentation for internal, customers and regulatory purposes.

• Guide junior team members on airfreight procedures and shipment documentation.

• Escalate unresolved customer or operational issues to management ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Job requirements

• Solid knowledge of airfreight import processes, documentation, and customs requirements.

• Strong operational and problem solving with the ability to manage multiple airfreight import shipments simultaneously.

• Good communication and coordination skills with customers, carriers and internal stakeholders.

• Previous hands-on experience in using Cargo wise system is a must.
